Nearly 1,000 Vietnamese people working and living in Vientiane, Laos gathered at a ceremony for the celebration on May 17.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Huy Quang called on the Vietnamese community to strengthen solidarity and mutual assistance in building the special friendship between the two countries.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia held a ceremony to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday in Phnom Penh on May 18, which drew the participation of many Vietnamese people who are living and studying in Cambodia.
