Vietnam, Ukraine desire stronger partnership between Hanoi and Kiev

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Anh Tuan and Governor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko have expressed their wish to boost closer partnership between Ukraine’s capital city and Vietnamese localities, especially Hanoi.

At a recent meeting, both sides briefed each other on the political, socio-economic and cultural development of the two countries, as well as the history and socio-economic achievements of the two capital cities.

Ambassador Tuan thanked Kiev authorities for supporting and offering the best possible conditions for the Vietnamese community in the city to settle down and make contributions to Kiev’s growth as well as the Vietnam-Ukraine relations.

He said he hopes Kiev will continue assiting Vietnamese enterprises in the city, including the International Trade Promotion Center "RAINBOW" and the 251 High School named after President Ho Chi Minh, which he described as a symbol of the Vietnam-Ukraine friendship.

The diplomat used the occasion to invite the Kiev leader to attend a Vietnamese concert in Kiev in mid-June and the Vietnamese Culture Day in Lvov city in July and showed his wish that the Kiev Governor will visit Vietnam and Hanoi soon.
