Germany’s Ministry of Cooperation and Investment and charitable organisation W.P.Shmitz. Sting have pledged 350,000 Euros to help southern Ben Tre province build 137 rural bridges.

An agreement to this effect was signed recently by the Ben Tre Association for Science and Technology of Bridge and Road and the German Ministry of Cooperation and Investment.

According to Chairman of the Ben Tre Association for Science and Technology of Bridge and Road Trinh Van Y, these bridges will be built in 2007-2008 in 103 communes.
