Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Company has safely conducted the launch of a 22,000 tonne vessel called the “Vinalines Mighty” on May 10.

This is the second 22,000 tonne vessel launched under a contract signed with the Vietnam Maritime Corporation to build eight ships of the same kind.

The Vinalines Mighty is supervised by Japan’s Registry. It is 153 metres long, 26 metres wide and 14 metres high with a designed capacity of 6,320kw.

The Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Company will now perfect the interior decorations of the “Vinalines Mighty” ready for transfer to the ship’s owner in July.
