450 northern students receive Vallet scholarships
Professor Odon Vallet has presented 450 scholarships worth VND3.15 billion in total to students in northern provinces.

The presentation took place at Hanoi Opera House on September 8.
In 2012, Professor Vallet will provide a total of 2,250 scholarships worth VND18 billion. This is the 12th consecutive year Vietnamese students have been awarded such scholarships.
The professor is known to have inherited a large fortune of 100 million euro from his father, Jean Vallet and have established a fund to support poor students in France, Vietnam and some African countries.
