The Vietnamese in Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany have made remarkable contributions to the construction and development of their homeland, said Hoang Xuan Cu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies to Vietnamese communities during his visits to the three European countries from May 22 to June 2.

While meeting with the Vietnamese societies and students in Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany, Mr Cu said overseas Vietnamese have helped boost the friendship between Vietnam and their adopted countries.

He spoke highly of the Vietnamese communities’ cultural and economic activities and mutual assistance to stabilise their living and working conditions.

During the meetings, overseas Vietnamese welcomed the Party and State’s policies aimed at helping them better integrate into the foreign societies and contribute to national development.
