The Ho Chi Minh National Politics and Administration Academy on August 27 held a ceremony to receive the Freedom Order (Itsala), first class awarded by the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR).

The award was in recognition of great contribution made by 56 lecturers and cadres of the academy to training many cadres for the Lao Party and State.

 

Addressing the ceremony, Bounthong Chitmany, Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee expressed his deep thanks to all lecturers from the academy for their valuable assistance over the past time, which has helped foster the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two peoples of Laos and Vietnam.

 

On the occasion, he also conferred the Itsala Order, first and second class to six key cadres including To Huy Rua, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Ideology and Culture and Le Huu Nghia, Director of the Academy.
