Kenya thinks highly of Vietnam’s patriotism and its national unity, and wishes to learn from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s experiences in gathering and upholding the population’s role in national development.

The remark was made by Director of Kenya’s Military Academy, Lieut. Gen. J. K. Tuwei, during his meeting with the VFF’s leaders in Hanoi on October 9.

The Kenyan delegation, which is on a working visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Vietnamese Defence Ministry, was briefed of the role of the VFF, the largest mass organisation in Vietnam, in upholding patriotism and the traditional solidarity of the Vietnamese nation, which have been decisive factors in the fight for national liberation, defence and construction.
