Deputies at the ongoing 34th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee gave their opinions on the Draft Law on Denunciations and Complaints on September 15.

The Draft Law, consisting of 9 chapters and 72 articles, stipulates the rights and obligations of denunciators, those who make the complaints, as well as the recipients of these complaints along with the jurisdiction for dealing with legal violations by cadres and State employees.

Most NA deputies underlined the need to issue the Law on Denunciations and Complaints, stating denunciations and dealing with denunciations are complex but important social issues.

The Law on Denunciations and Complaints should ensure that people can make denunciations and complaints in a clear and convenient manner, they stressed.

The same day, NA deputies also discussed the draft law on the capital city.
