The Ho Chi Minh City Museum of War Remnants on May 27 received eight documentary films on the Austrian people's support for Vietnam during the war of resistance against the US from the Austrian Federal Council.
The films were presented by Austrian Federal Council President Sissy Roth-Halvax during her visit to Vietnam.
The films, made and broadcast on the Austrian Television and Broadcasting Station in 1969, 1970, 1972 and 1973, cover the Austrian, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Lao people's demonstrations against the US army during the Vietnam war.
The same day, the Austrian delegation met with Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Pham Phuong Thao. President Halvax said that the two countries see opportunities to expand cooperation in many fields, especially in waste disposal.
