The tournament which will take place at the Bac Ninh Competition House from September 5-9 will attract 80 athletes and coaches from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam. The annual event is held in rotation amongst Southeast Asian countries.

According to the organising committee, Bac Ninh has a lot of experience at holding big sporting events, including the third Asian Indoor Games in 2009. The accommodation and transport for the athletes is still underway but the volunteers, interpreters and services for the event are all ready.

The championship is expected to produce some interesting matches and provide an excellent opportunity for Bac Ninh to promote its image to international friends.
