Congratulations to Palestine on upgraded status
Vietnam has congratulated Palestine on being granted non-member observer state status by the UN General Assembly.
Answering queries on Vietnam’s response to the UN General Assembly’s resolution to grant an upgrade of Palestinian status from "entity" to "non-member state" on November 29, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi on November 30 further said the event marks a milestone in the Palestinian people’s struggle for basic national rights, including the right to establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state that peacefully coexists with the state of Israel.
