Vietnam to host Asia Pacific Conference on Public Health

(VOV) -The 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Public Health entitled “Climate Change and Population Health” will be held in Nha Trang on November 21-22 this year.

Participants will dwell on urgent problems related to public health not only in Vietnam but also in many countries across the world as well as national policies in response to climate change and population health.

Currently, climate change has been affecting the health status of different generations and population groups, patterns of morbidity and mortality, health gap between rich and poor, social stability, and political security.

The Vietnam Public Health Association (VPHA) hopes that the conference will provide a good opportunity for public health organizations to share experience and find the best solutions to reduce the impact of climate change.
