A six-month training course on the Protestant religion has concluded in the Central Highland province of Dak Nong, according to pastor R'ma Loan, head of the Dak Nong Board of Protestant Religion.

The training course was attended by 37 Protestant missionaries from the locality. The oldest trainee was 67 year-old Y Pum Knul from the M’Nong ethnic minority group in Bon Phung hamlet, Quang Tan commune, Dak R/Lap district. The youngest trainee was Hoang Chang Vang, 20 years old, from the Dao ethic minority group in Thuan thanh commune, Krong No district.

So far, Dak Nong province has held two training courses on theology for 69 trainees, including 15 people who qualified as pastors.

Pastor Pham Van Tin said that the local officials and authorities had created good conditions to ensure the successful organisation of the training courses. All the trainees were pleased with the course and believe in the State’s policies on freedom of religious beliefs.
