Central Highland Dak Lak province should boost economic development while ensuring political and social stability and reinforcing the great national unity bloc, said State President Nguyen Minh Triet during his working session with local leaders on April 17 as part of his tour of Central Highland provinces.

Mr Triet worked with local authorities on issues related to socio-economic development, judicial reform and preparations for the election of deputies to the 12th National Assembly.

He praised the significant achievements recorded by Central Highland authorities and people during the past year and asked them to boost socio-economic development along with ensuring political and social stability and consolidating the local judicial system and the great national unity bloc.

Priority should be given to improving the business environment, pushing up administrative reform and developing the processing industry to increase the quality of goods, Mr Triet stressed.

Mr Triet went on to say that despite obtaining remarkable progress in judicial reform, Dak Lak should further increase the quality of judicial staff at the grass roots level, maintain social security and order and ensure the organisation of the 12th NA election in a democratic and lawful manner.
