Quang Ninh to attract more European visitors
The northern province of Quang Ninh expects to reel in European travellers during its Ha Long Tourism Week 2012 from November 27-30.
The event, which is expected to draw 140 representatives of travel operators and journalists from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Britain, will be jointly held by provincial authorities in cooperation with national carrier Vietnam Airlines.
Over the past 10 ten months, the province has welcomed over 5.9 million travelers, including nearly 2 million foreign visitors, up 7 percent over the same period last year, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
