Most Venerable Thich Huyen Quang, chief monk of the Nguyen Thieu Monastery in central Binh Dinh province, passed away at 13h20 on July 5.

After a time of serious illness and being treated at the Binh Dinh Polyclinic, the senior Buddhist monk departed at the age of 90.
