Illustrative paintings on display in Hanoi
(VOV) -103 illustrative paintings by 100 Brazilian artists dubbed “IlustraBrazil!” are being exhibited at the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi from November 22-29.
This is a special edition of the Society of Illustrators of Brazil (SIB) annual event introduced by the Brazilian Embassy in Vietnam for the first time.
Apart from seeing and enjoying the typical images of the Latin American country through its Samba dance, football, Carnival festival, sunny beach and celebrities, visitors will have the chance to meet with two famous artists, Rogerio Soud and Braulio Flores and attend Soud’s workshops.
Annually held in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro since 2004, IlustraBrazil! has twice won the HQ Mix Awards, one of the most traditional national awards in the creative industry.
