ASCC adopts important documents
VOV.VN - The 16th session of ASEAN’s Socio-Cultural Community Council (ASCC) concluded in Vientiane on August 31 with the adoption of significant documents.
The session took into consideration documents and statements for submission to the 28thASEAN Summit scheduled to take place this month in Vientiane.
Ms Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, who lead the Vietnamese delegation to the meeting, said,“The statements express the strong commitment of each ASEAN country to realizing the ASEAN Community’s master plan. Apart from approving documents, ASEAN countries were also committed to working out mechanism to monitor implementation in each country toward achieving goals”.
The 16th session of the ASEAN’s Socio-Cultural Community Council issued a joint statement, pledging to encourage relevant agencies to realize prioritized targets of ASEAN’s Socio-Cultural Community in 2016.
