Hang Ma Street a flurry of trade in banners and red flags

VOV.VN - Banners, national flags and other paraphernalia to cheer on Vietnam U23s at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) final are seeing brisk trade in shops on Hang Ma Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

  Hang Ma Street is teeming with fans buying up merchandise to cheer on Vietnam’s U23 players from morning till mid night. 

 Plastic horns are selling well at a price of VND30,000-80,000 each.

A sheet of 200 of small stickers of the national flag.

   A flag bearing the portrait of Korean coach Park Hang-seo and the national flags of both Korea and Vietnam.

   T-shirts in the style of Vietnam’s flag are selling well at a price of VND650,000 for ten, or VND80,000 each.

   A student from Hanoi University of Science and Technology says his classmates teamed together to buy wholesale merchandise to cheer on Vietnam U23s and even plan to be at Noi Bai International Airport to welcome the footballers on their return.
