Ho Chi Minh City has so far this year received 520,000 foreign visitors, a year-on-year increase of 10 percent.


The tourists from the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Russia, Finland and Portugal, said they were attracted by friendly local people as well as a stable political situation. High quality hotels with good services in the city were also highly appreciated.


Hotel occupancy rate has not fallen below 80 percent since the Tet holidays.
