Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has decided to allocate VND60 billion from the State budget to help northern mountainous provinces of Bac Kan, Ha Giang and Lao Cai prevent storms and floods.

Bac Kan province will be provided with VND20 billion to overcome the aftermath of the disasters.

Ha Giang province will receive VND30 billion to build embankments to prevent landslides in Dong Van, Hoang Su Phi and Bac Quang districts.

Meanwhile, Lao Cai province will get VND10 billion to build embankments to prevent landslides in Lao Cai resort city.
