A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem will attend the 39th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting (AMM-39) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Dung at a regular press briefing in Hanoi on July 13.

Mr Khiem will also attend the Meeting of Foreign Ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries and three dialogue countries - China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ASEAN+3), the Post Ministerial Conference (PMC), and the 13th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF-13) from July 24-28.

With the theme "Forging a United, Resilient and Integrated ASEAN," the AMM-39 will focus discussions on orientation and measures to promote cooperation among ASEAN members and its dialogue partners, supporting the target of building the ASEAN Community, and ensuring the bloc’s focal role in the region.

ASEAN Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on a series of regional and international matters of common concern.
