Preparations for election under review
VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman and head of the subcommittee for personnel and settlement of complaints and denunciations under the National Election Council Phung Quoc Hien chaired a meeting in Hanoi on May 16.
The meeting is designed to check on the preparations for the upcoming election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure slated for May 22.
The subcommittee reviewed the personnel work after announcing the lists of NA and all-level People’s Council candidates.
The meeting also discussed ways to settle election-related complaints and denunciations by May 12 and touched upon what should be done from now to the Election Day and post-election tasks.
