The Queen Elizabeth II cruiser with nearly 1,600 tourists aboard anchored off Chan May seaport in the central province of Thua Thien Hue in the early morning of March 15.

The tourists from 33 countries were taken to see places of interest in Hue and the two neighbouring provinces of Quang Nam and Da Nang, including the Imperial Enclosure and the royal family's tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century, Hoi An Ancient Town, and Cham Towers in the My Son ancient holy-land.

Queen Elizebeth II was the third foreign luxury cruiser, which had landed at Chan May seaport since early this year.

The British flag carrier left central Vietnam for Singapore later in the day.
