The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in coordination with the Taiwan International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA), will send a working team to Taiwan from June 25 to July 1 to boost trade and investment activities.

As scheduled, the team will organise the 13th Vietnam-Taiwan Business Meeting, meet officials of CIECA and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) as well as enterprises in several industrial zones.

"This is a good opportunity for Vietnamese businesses operating in mechanics, electricity, electronics, informatics, high technology and food processing to promote their exports to Taiwan," said Hoang Van Dzung, VCCI Standing Vice Chairman.
Taiwan is one of Vietnam's largest investors with 1,393 effective projects registering a total capital of more than US$8.5 billion by the end of 2005.
