Fire destroys two houses in Chua Lang street
VOV.VN - At 2am on October 8, a huge fire broke out at a restaurant and motorbike shop in Chua Lang street, Dong Da district, Hanoi.

| A local witness said they could first smell something terrible they rushed out to see what it was to bear witness to the enormous flames. People desperately tried to put out the fire on their own with no luck. |

| After the fire alarm was raised, four fire engines and fight fighters were mobilized to the scene to tackle the blaze. The fire was brought under control in just over 20 minutes. |

| No one was present at the restaurant and motorbike shop at the time the fire broke out and so fortunately nobody was hurt. |

| Belongings inside the 60 square metre-houses such as furniture and kitchen appliances were completely destroyed. Some power lines nearby were also melted due to the impact of the fire. |

| Police were still inspecting the scene until 3am. |
