Man arrested for jeopardizing State, citizens’ interests
The Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security on May 26 arrested Truong Duy Nhat on the charge of “abusing rights to democracy and freedom to infringe the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and citizens”.
An urgent search of Nhat’s house on 25 Tong Phuoc Pho street, Hoa Cuong Bac ward, Hai Chau district, Danang city was also carried out the same day in coordination with the Danang municipal police.
The search of Nhat’s house and his arrest were pursuant to Article 258 of the Penal Code of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Relevant agencies are conducting further investigation into the case.
