The festival is taking place from July 2-6 at Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City with a string of activities, helping participants gain a better understanding of different cultures through gameshows, food pavilions and art performances.

The opening ceremony drew the participation of more than 400 domestic and foreign teachers and students.

A Thai university sent 25 students to Ton Duc Thang University to study English and Vietnamese culture.

Nara, 26, from Mongolia says she is eager to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine and study its culture as this is the first time she has visited the S-shaped country.

Ngo Thi Thanh Van, a representative from the organizing board, says the ICF is an annual event that has been organized by Ton Duc Thang University since 2017 to attract international students from across the globe to promote cultural exchanges with its students.
