Southern localities urgently prepare for typhoon Tembin

VOV.VN - The Southern provinces of Ba Ria Vung Tau and Ca Mau have been hastily evacuating locals to safe places as typhoon Tembin is forecast to make landfall in these localities on the afternoon of December 25.  

  Local fishermen in Long Son commune, Vung Tau city rapidly move to safety onshore and take shelter from the storm.

Boats of fishermen in Ba Ria Vung Tau move to the mainland to avoid the storm. 

    Boats are safely anchored after returning to the harbour.

Locals of Long Son fishing village make the move on to dry land to prepare for the typhoon.

  Crewmen, boats, and vessels are urged to seek shelter from the storm. 

Petroleum service vessels also dock at port for safety.

   Coracles are transported onshore to ensure the safety and assets of locals in Phuoc Hai commune, Long Dien district. 


  Locals from the fishing hamlet in ward 5, Vung Tau move to safe places. 

     Regarding evacuation, children and the elderly are given top priority. 

 Children and the elderly are evacuated to safe grounds. 

     Locals are quickly taking drastic preventive measures as storm Tembin is forecast to make landfall in Ca Mau soon. 


   Local residents gather at a market in ward 2, Ca Mau to stock up on essentials. 

     The market is unusually crowded as people prepare for the storm.

  Some shops are overloaded with customers looking to purchase tools and materials to reinforce their houses.
