An economic, trade and investment cooperation forum between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 20 with the participation of 400 RoK and 200 Vietnamese entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the forum, president of the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said Vietnam’s recent admission to the World Trade Organisation will help boost trade exchanges between the two countries.

Currently, the RoK ranks fourth among foreign investors in Vietnam with a total investment capital of US$4.1 billion.
