Danish Ambassador sends New Year greetings
(VOV) -Danish Ambassador to Vietnam John Nielsen has sent a video message to convey Merry Christmas and Happy New Year wishes to the Vietnamese people.
His four-minute clip was shot at the Temple of Literature, considered the first university in Vietnam and also one of Hanoi’s most famous historical sites.
He reviewed his Embassy’s 2012 achievements, shared its priorities in the coming year, and exchanged greetings with local Vietnamese girls.
The Ambassador stressed that 2012 saw the bilateral ties between Vietnam and Denmark continue to flourish, highlighting recent trade developments. Denmark plans to double its exports to Vietnam over the next five years.
The two countries also held many exchanges and a number of Vietnamese artists performed in Denmark during 2012.
In 2013, Denmark will expand its relationship with Vietnam in politics, economics, and culture. It pledges to support Vietnam in developing a green economy and sustainable society.
