Vietnam has exported more than 30,000 labourers since the beginning of the year, which makes up 37 percent of its yearly target, said the Overseas Workers Management Bureau.
Vietnam’s largest labour market is Malaysia currently employing more than 12,200 workers, followed by Taiwan (nearly 7,000), and the Republic of Korea (nearly 4,000).
Its new markets include Qatar (nearly 3,000 workers), Macau (119), and Brunei (146).
Vietnam plans to send 80,000 labourers to work overseas by the end of 2007.
