Asia’s biggest MDF wood factory begins operation

VOV.VN - VRG Dongwha Joint Stock Company on August 28 officially operated the biggest Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) wood factory in Asia at Minh Hung III Industrial Zone in Chon Thanh District, Binh Phuoc Province.

VRG Dongwha MDF is a joint venture between Vietnam Rubber Group and Dongwha Group from the Republic of Korea.

The factory was built on an area of 6.4ha at Minh Hung III IZ with an annual capacity of 180,000cub.m in the first phase. The operation of the factory in the second phase helps raise its annual capacity to 480,000 cub.m with a total investment of US$215 million (VND4,850 billion).

The factory’s products are supplied to more than 150 domestic and 30 foreign customers.
