France’s impressive run to the World Cup quarter-finals

In the last 16, France and Argentina battled it out in a sensational match which ended 4-3 to Les Bleus.

France opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Argentina fought back to lead the match 2-1 thanks to goals from Di Maria and Mercado. However, Pavard and Mbappe then scored three stunning goals, and Aguero’s late strike could do nothing to stop France from taking the win.
