Japanese Crown Prince and Crown Princess to visit Vietnam
VOV.VN - Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and his wife are set to pay a visit to the nation in September as part of the occasion of the 50th anniversary of both side’s diplomatic relations, according to details given by Japanese media.
Their one-week visit includes visiting Hanoi and participating in important events which celebrate the 50th anniversary of joint diplomatic ties.
Crown Prince Akishino and his wife previously visited the country back in 1999, with Prince Akishino being the successor to the Japanese throne.
This year has seen the two countries launch a broad array of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of mutual diplomatic relations, including exchange visits by their leaders.
The two sides have enjoyed a traditional relationship with a long and close history. Currently, the relationship between the two sides is considered to be in its best ever period of development.
