Deputy PM meets former revolutionary prisoners

VOV.VN -  Former Vietnamese revolutionary prisoners on January 31 held a get-together to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the War Remnant Museum in Ho Chi Minh City.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said he hoped that the revolutionary veterans would continue to contribute to national development and inspire the younger generation of the revolutionary tradition.

He said the government and administrations at all levels will better implement policies for former revolutionary prisoners and rehabilitate historical relic sites.

The Party, State and people always treasure the sacrifice and great contributions by former revolutionary prisoners to the national liberation struggle in the past as well as in the country’s construction and defence cause at present, he said.
