2018 spring calligraphy festival set for Feb. 9

VOV.VN - The 2018 spring calligraphy festival will be held at Ho Van in Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) from February 9-25. 

More than 35 works of calligraphy will go on display at the Temple of Literature. 

Le Xuan Kieu, director of the Centre for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of Van Mieu-QuocTu Giam said 55 calligraphers have been carefully chosen to participate in the calligraphy festival.

Visitors will have the opportunity to observe and learn about the process of making do (poonah) paper and Dong Ho folk paintings, visit pavilions of traditional craft villages, participate in a lantern festival, enjoy special art programs on folk music, and get stuck in the process of wrapping Chung cake.
