Ethnic dancing festival held on the peak of Fansipan excites crowds

VOV.VN - An ethnic dancing festival is currently underway on the peak of Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina, in the mountainous northern province of Lao Cai, attracting a large number of local visitors and tourists.

The festival is running with the theme of “Dancing on the cloud”, also known as Vu dieu tren may in Vietnamese.
The event is being held on Fansipan mountain in the Hoang Lien Son range of Sa Pa town in Lao Cai province. The highest peak of the mountain is officially recognised as the highest peak in both Vietnam and Indochina.
The Dao ethnic people perform an array of traditional dances.
The ethnic people come from the northwestern mountainous area in the country and appear like professional dancers with the quality of their show.

The wedding rituals of the Red Dao ethnic people are performed for onlookers at the festival.
