Hoa community in HCMC celebrate Lantern Festival
VOV.VN - Hoa people in Ho Chi Minh City held a parade on February 22 to mark their Lantern Festival which falls on the 15th of the first lunar month.
They welcome the first full moon night and pray for wealth and happiness in the new lunar year. |

About 1,180 paraders departed from Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, then went through Chau Van Liem Lao Tu, Luong Nhu Hoc, Nguyen Trai and Tran Xuan Hoa Streets. |
Lion dance, stiltwalking, fan dance and other traditional arts were performed during the parade. |
Traditional art troupes from Districts 5, 6, and 11 of Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Nai province also joined the event. |
Children performed traditional dances. |
Famous characters of Chinese opera theater appeared on the parade. |
