In photos: Vietnam Journey TV channel goes live on air

VOV.VN -The broadcasting ceremony for the Vietnam Journey Channel was held at the VOV headquarters in Hanoi on January 9.

A live programme was broadcast from across the country, with participants being shown in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh province, and Kien Giang province.
The event, co-organised by Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST), attracted the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, MoCST Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, and VOV President Nguyen The Ky.
The delegates pressed the button to officially launch the broadcast of the country’s first multi-platform interactive TV channel on culture and tourism.
The specialised channel will feature images and stories of natural beauty, traditional culture, and delicious cuisine from localities across the country.
It will also provide information on fresh regulations involving tourism, festival, and other cultural activities.
The channel will be broadcast nonstop in HD on VTV Cab, SCTV, VTC, Mobi TV, FPT, My TV, and Next Media in 63 provinces and cities throughout the country.
Using interactive technology, audiences will be able to directly participate in the programmes. Users are able to interact with MCs and other viewers through their smartphones or smart TVs.

Singer Duong Hoang Yen also performed at the broadcasting event in Hanoi.
 
Singer Ai Phuong sang “Xin chao Viet Nam” (Hello Vietnam) at the event in Ho Chi Minh City.
The broadcasting ceremony also went to Phu Quoc.
Audiences in Ha Long also participated in the ceremony.
