Priceless golden books from Nguyen Dynasty go on exhibit
VOV.VN - An exhibition showcasing 22 precious golden books from the Nguyen Dynasty and 10 related metal books opened on March 31 at the Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi.

The books are a special type of ancient document made of expensive metals that recorded a myriad of royal events and functions such as the details of emperors’ succession to the throne. |

The museum curator said the marvellously preserved treasures made of gold and gold-plated silver will provide visitors with invaluable information on the historical and cultural contributions of the Nguyen Dynasty. |
