US Ambassador, his family wear red Ao Dai to embassy Tet event

VOV.VN - US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink and his family dressed themselves in red Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) embroidered with yellow apricot blossom patterns for an event in Hanoi to welcome the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

In an event to welcome the Lunar New Year held by the US Embassy in Hanoi last weekend, US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink and his family wore matching red Ao Dai.
Designer Anh Thu (centre) was chosen to design the special Ao Dai for the US Ambassador to Vietnam, his family, and the Deputy Chief of Mission in Vietnam.
Designer Anh Thu said she felt very happy when US Ambassador and his family love Vietnam’s Ao Dai, the dress helped everyone to be closer.
US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink is very friendly with all of the children.
A child receives lucky money from the US Ambassador to Vietnam.
