US Ambassador Kritenbrink extends Tet greetings through rap video
VOV.VN - The US embassy in Vietnam has posted a music video clip in which Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink delivers best wishes to the Vietnamese people ahead of the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.
The three-minute long clip features the US Ambassador walking around the streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City alongside local rapper Wowy, who is one of the members of the jury in the popular TV show “Rap Viet”.
The lyrics of the rap by Ambassador Krittenbrink praise both country’s mutual relationship, including lines such as, “Our friendship endures, US and Vietnam, from now to forever. We’re trusted partners, prospering together!”
He also sends his best wishes to all Vietnamese people as they are celebrating the Lunar New Year.
The diplomat initially took over as the US Ambassador to Vietnam in October, 2017.
Most notably, his Tet music video hit more than 13,000 likes and 1,800 shares on Facebook within just 18 hours after its release.
