Vietnam sends representative to Miss Grand International 2020
VOV.VN - Miss Vietnam 2020 second runner-up Ngoc Thao will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2020, due to be held in Thailand in March.
The information was revealed at a press briefing in HCM City on February 23 by Sen Vang company that is entitled to send a Vietnamese representative to the pageant.
Ngoc Thao, 21, stands at 1.74 metres tall and measures 81-61-95.
She is due to fly out to Thailand in late February where she will join the competition’s other participants in isolation for a 14-day period as part of measures aimed at controlling the potential spread of COVID-19.
The pageant was originally postponed last year due to COVID-19 fears and is rescheduled for March 2021.
During the press conference, Ngoc Thao received enthusiastic guideline from Kieu Loan, who secured a Top 10 finish at Miss Grand International 2019, ahead of the global contest this year.
She also introduced national costumes created by designer Tin Thai, along with outfits and evening gowns by designer Linh San, all of which she would wear during the upcoming global beauty contest.
