Leaders of Vietnam, Russia provinces focus on boosting trade

VOV.VN - Leaders of the Vietnamese province of Binh Duong say they expect a recently signed MOU with a Russian province to give a major push to increased commercial trade between the two economies.

Mai Hung Dung, vice chair of Binh Duong People’s Committee says he and the leaders of the province of Oryol located approximately 360 kilometres south-southwest of Moscow have agreed in principle to beef up commercial trade.

Mr Dung said the MOU could result in a major boost in exports from the province in agricultural products such as cashews and coffee. On the other hand, companies in the province are interested in acquiring the latest oil refinery equipment from the Russian province.
