China – biggest supplier of phones and components to Vietnam
VOV.VN - China was Vietnam’s biggest supplier of phones and components during the first six months of 2018, with a value of US$3.63 billion, a year-on-year rise of 11.8%, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

On the opposite side, the country’s phone and component exports rose 16% to US$22.62 billion, with key markets being the EU (US$6.79 billion), the US (US$2.3 billion), the Republic of Korea (US$2.24 billion) and the United Arab Emirates (US$2.17 billion).
