Condolences sent to Algeria over military plane crash

President Tran Dai Quang on April 13 cabled a message of condolences to his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika over a recent military plane crash which claimed many lives.

An Algerian airplane carrying mostly soldiers crashed near the Boufarik airbase outside Algeria’s capital, Algiers, on April 11.

The aircraft went down shortly after takeoff, killing at least 257 people aboard.
