PM Phuc arrives in Austria, starting working visit to Europe

VOV.VN - On the afternoon of October 14 (local time), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his wife and Vietnamese delegation arrived at Vienna International Airport, beginning their official visit to the Republic of Austria.

Those among welcoming guests at the airport were Austrian Government representatives, Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Le Dung, Vietnamese embassy staff, Vietnamese community representatives in Austria and some European countries, and ASEAN Ambassadors in Austria.

Shortly thereafter, PM Phuc talked with Vietnamese embassy officials and staff, and Vietnamese community representatives in Austria and several European nations.

As planned, the Vietnamese government leader is due to attend an official welcoming ceremony, hold talks with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz, witness the signing of a number of cooperation documents, and attend a joint press conference.

During the Austria visit, PM Phuc is scheduled to meet with several senior Australian leaders, deliver a speech at the Vietnam-Austria Business Forum, witness the signing of agreements between the two countries, host Austria's leading businesses and visit a number of education and training establishments.

The official visit to Austria by PM Phuc is a kick-start activity of his working visit to Europe for the 12th ASEM Summit (ASEM 12), the Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 Summit (P4G), and
officials visits to Austria, Belgium, Demark and the European Union (EU).
