Tribute-paying ceremony for Party chief Do Muoi in Japan
VOV.VN - Ambassadors from embassies in Japan such as Laos, Thailand and even far-flung Bulgaria along with Japanese senior officials and international friends paid homage to former Party General Secretary Do Muoi at a tribute –paying ceremony held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan on October 5.
On behalf of Vietnamese embassy staff and representative agencies, ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong highlighted the great contributions made by former Party General Secretary Do Muoi to the revolutionary cause of the Party, State and the nation, noting that Do Muoi set a bright example for Vietnam’s generations in Japan.
In the book of condolence, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Norikazu Suzuki extended his deep sympathy for the passing of the Party chief Do Muoi, who made great contributions to Vietnam’s development and cooperation between the two nations.

Former Japanese ambassador to Vietnam Hiroyuki Yushita reminisced his meetings with former Party leader Do Muoi when he was the Japanese ambassador to Vietnam and hailed his valuable contributions to Vietnam-Japan friendship.
The tribute-paying service for former Party General Secretary Do Muoi in the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan runs until the end of October 6.
